About The Dolomites and Cortina: the back story

UNESCO has listed the Dolomites as a World Heritage site since 2009. Cortina d’Ampezzo, in the Veneto’s province of Belluno, is their best-known resort, for skiing in winter and walking in summer; SanBrite and Tivoli each hold One MICHELIN Star in the 2026 guide.

Getting there

By road, or by train and bus via the Belluno valley; check the official tourism site for connections.
