About Dorsoduro: the back story

Dorsoduro runs from the Salute and the Punta della Dogana past the Guggenheim and the Accademia to Campo Santa Margherita, with the Zattere along the Giudecca Canal.

The Museum Mile

The Punta della Dogana, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Palazzo Cini, the Accademia and Ca’ Rezzonico.

The Zattere

The long waterfront along the Giudecca Canal, with the San Trovaso gondola yard and its bacaro.

Spend a day here with the art, and finish on the Zattere at sunset.

Our advice: buy museum tickets online, and keep the evening for the Zattere.
