About Le Fórcole di Saverio Pastor
Saverio Pastor carves fórcole, the sculpted oarlocks on which Venetian rowers pivot their oars, and Venetian oars. His workshop on the Fondamenta Soranzo, near the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, can be visited during working hours (closed on Sundays and some Saturdays); scale models are for sale.
