About Castello and the Arsenale
Leave the Riva degli Schiavoni at the Pietà and turn inland to the land gate of the Arsenale, the Republic’s shipyard; return to the water at the Museo Storico Navale on the Riva San Biagio, then follow the lagoon past the Biennale gardens to the pines of Sant’Elena.
